Korea International School hosts 2018 WLSA College Fair
A college admissions fair featuring some of the most prestigious universities around the world will be held in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province, on July 21.
Thirteen institutions will participate in this year’s fair including Cornell University, Vanderbilt University, Emory University, University of Rochester, and University of Southern California.
The 2018 College Fair and Ivy League Seminar is co-hosted by the Korea International School and the World Leading Schools Association.
The WLSA Foundation is an association of prestigious schools around the world, including Eton College in the United Kingdom and Groton School from the United States.
Each year, the WLSA Foundation hosts several college admissions fairs, offering a network of leading universities around the world the opportunity to visit WLSA’s associate schools and engage with diverse student bodies.
As an exclusive member of WLSA in Korea, the Korea International School is hosting the event at its Pangyo campus.
The sessions will provide practical information about application and admissions procedures for entering respective colleges as well as provide students and parents an opportunity for one-on-one consultations with admissions staff, organizers said.
Students from the Harvard College Korean International Student Association, and as well as KIS graduates attending Ivy League schools are scheduled to share their experiences and strategies related to college entrance.
The event is open to all students and parents who are interested in overseas universities.
