P&G signs on with PyeongChang Olympics

Procter & Gamble Korea has signed an agreement with the PyeongChang Organizing Committee to join efforts to promote the Winter Games such as by holding a nationwide cheering campaign, the company said Friday.

Under the name “Reply 50 million,” referring to the South Korean population, the company will work with the committee to collect messages of encouragement from citizens around the country to be delivered to the participating athletes, who will also send out responses in a two-way exchange.

“As a global Olympic partner that has carried out campaigns for the past five games, the significance of PyeongChang 2018 is even more special as it is being held here,” said Kim Joo-youn, general manager of P&G Korea, noting the company’s campaign will help connect the players with the public.
