Actor Lee Jin-wook was shocked by the news of his fiancee and actress Gong Hyo-jin’s car accident, according to Lee’s management agency.

Will Entertainment reportedly said “he had to calm his pounding heart.” 

“Since it was a freeway car accident, we thought she was terribly hurt. Once we found out that it was not a serious injury, Lee was relieved.”

Gong was taken to a hospital after suffering from a car accident and her left arm was fractured, her agency said. “We think she also has a scratch on her face. We will find out about her return to filming after the checkup result comes out.”

After filming “It’s Okay. That’s Love” on Thursday at around 1 a.m., the car Gong was riding in and two trucks collided, resulting in a three-car rear-end collision. Staff riding the same car with Gong were also injured and were taken to the hospital for examination and treatment.
