EXO member D.O. performed a funny dance as a shamanistic ritual for the success of his first and latest television series “It’s OK. That’s Love,” broadcaster SBS said on Thursday.

The event took place in Incheon, Gyeonggi Province, on June 6 when the scriptwriter, production staff and cast members gathered to attend the traditional ritual, “gosa” in Korean, for the success of “It’s OK, That’s Love.”

When each participant made a short speech at the ceremony, the boy band member delivered his own. Then one of the staff members jokingly asked him to dance as a ritual for good luck. The singer made a hilarious dance move, making everyone burst into laughter.

Besides D.O., the major participants of the ritual included the production crew and the cast, including Jo In-sung, Gong Hyo-jin and Lee Kwang-su, who also expressed their hopes for the success of the romantic comedy drama. 

“I thank all of the staff members who work hard for us. I am happy to work with Gong Hyo-jin, the unbeaten legend in dramas,” Jo was quoted as saying.

The heroine, Gong, also stepped in. “I am thrilled to be working with the ‘dream team’ of the Korean drama field. I hope we can all have fun,” she said.

Lee Kwang-su said, “I am happy to work with such good people,” and yelled “Daebak!” which means “a big hit” in Korean, making the crowd laugh.

The rest of the actors also spoke briefly.

“It’s OK, That’s Love” features a detective novelist named Jang Jae-yeol (played by Jo In-sung) and a psychiatrist named Ji Hae-soo (played by Gong Hyo-jin). It will be broadcast after “You’re All Surrounded,” starting July 23.
