Third anniversary promotion at La Seine

La Seine, a buffet restaurant at the Lotte Hotel Seoul, offers discounts and special events in celebration of the third anniversary of its reopening until March 31. The restaurant’s weekday lunch buffet is now priced at 79,000 won for adults and 53,000 won for children, 15 percent off the normal price. For an additional 20,000 won, restaurant guests can enjoy an unlimited amount of beer, five types of wine and soft drinks. Special promotional events include the Ladies Day event, which gives female guests a 30 percent discount on the lunch buffet on Mondays (except holidays) until Nov. 30. All restaurant guests will also receive a scratch-off lottery ticket with a chance to win prizes such as a room voucher for a one-night stay at the Lotte Hotel Seoul, a spa voucher for the Sulwhasoo Spa (located on the fourth floor of the main wing), a 20-day free access coupon to La Seine, and discount coupons. Masters of Food & Wine event at Park Hyatt Seoul

The Masters of Food & Wine event will be held at the Park Hyatt Seoul on Jan. 24. The theme of the event is “thermo-genic foods” that help raise the body temperature in winter. The event will begin with a welcoming reception that offers deep-fried pond smelt and young-ji mushroom tea followed by a Korean five-course dinner featuring thermo-genic foods prepared by the executive and master chef of the hotel. On the menu are cold chicken salad with wild sesame coulis, seafood soup (haemultang) with dried pollock broth and seasonal seafood. The dinner will be accompanied by a selection of French organic wines. The event will take place from 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event is priced at 180,000 won per person, including tax and service charges. Lunar New Year package at Sheraton Seoul Cube City

The Sheraton Seoul Cube City Hotel offers the Dream 2014 package for Lunar New Year. The package includes a one-night stay at the hotel as well as a breakfast buffet for two at the restaurant Feast on the 41st floor, overlooking western downtown Seoul. It also offers two movie tickets to Lotte Cinema, which is directly connected to the hotel. The tickets are available for pick-up upon check-in. Lunar New Year gift sets at Renaissance Seoul

The Renaissance Seoul Hotel offers a variety of gift sets for the Lunar New Year. The gift sets include the Premium Galbi (rib) set made with Australian ribs; the Renaissance Premium Hamper set, composed of various items including wine, cheese, olive oil and more; and the Premium Chile Wine and Cheese set, composed of two red wines and three different kinds of cheeses. Other selections include wine from France, Australia and California, as well as traditional Korean liquors. Prices range from 27,000 won to 540,000 won, including tax.
