이효리의 신곡 “미스코리아”의 티저 영상이 소속사 B2M Entertainment 의 공식 유투브 채널과 각종 음원사이트를 통해 2일 낮 12시에 공개 됐다.

“미스코리아 충북 진”으로 등장한 이효리는 화려한 화장과 7~80년대 복고 스타일의 다양한 의상을 선보이며 “섹시 디바”의 귀환을 알렸다. 흑백의 모노톤으로 촬영 된 뮤직비디오는 복고풍의 분위기를 강조했다.

이효리가 직접 작사작곡 한 “미스코리아”는 강렬한 비트와 중독성 있는 멜로디 구성으로 청취자의 귀를 사로잡으며 “Because I’m a Miss Korea”라는 후렴구와 함께 이효리 특유의 당당함을 뽐냈다.

“미스코리아” 의 전곡와 뮤직비디오의 풀 버전은 5월 6일 낮 12시에 공개 될 예정이며, 3년만에 선보이는 이효리의 정규 앨범은 21일 전격 공개 된다.

Lee Hyori to be the next “Miss Korea” in new video

Singer Lee Hyori released a teaser of her new music video “Miss Korea” through her agency, B2M Entertainment’s official YouTube channel and music websites in South Korea on Thursday. 

The 34-year-old singer appears in the video as a winner of North Chungcheong Province’s beauty pageant with glamorous makeup and outfits reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980. The use of black-and-white in the video adds to the retro feel. 

Lee flaunts a seductive and playful image in the 33-second teaser, eliciting responses like “ the sexy diva has come back” and “another ‘Hyori Syndrome’ is expected” from Internet users.

“Miss Korea” is written and composed by Lee herself and contains the catchy chorus “Because I am a Miss Korea.” 

The full version of the song and its music video will be unveiled on May 6 and her fifth official album including “Miss Korea” will be released on May 21.
