트로트 가수 장윤정(33)과 KBS 아나운서 도경완(31)이 오늘 9월 화촉을 밝힌다.

장윤정의 소속사 인우프로덕션은 “두 사람이 지난해 방송을 통해 알게 된 후 진지한 만남을 이어오다 결혼을 결심하게 됐다“고 밝혔다.

이어 ”두 사람이 모두 대중의 사랑을 받고 방송인으로서 거짓 없이 이와 같은 사실을 알리고 차근차근 결혼 준비를 하길 원해 조금 일찍 소식을 전하게 됐다“고 덧붙였다.

장윤정은 소속사를 통해 ”힘든 일이 있을 때 도경완 씨는 누구보다 큰 위로가 됐고, 기쁠 때 나보다 더 기뻐해 주고 너무나 깊은 신뢰와 사랑을 보여준 사람이기에 계산이나 고민 없이 평생 함께하고 싶다는 결심을 하게 됐다“고 밝혔다. 또 ”오랜 시간 응원해 주신 팬 분들 앞에 더 행복한 모습으로 노래할 수 있도록 결혼생활 바르게 해 나가겠다“고 다짐했다.

도경완 아나운서 역시 ”늘 허전하고 차갑던 마음이, 장윤정 씨를 만나 태어나 처음으로 풍요롭고 따뜻해짐을 느꼈다“며 ”두 번 다신 없을 최고의 선택에 서로만을 바라보고 사랑하는 모습으로 감사한 세상에 보답하며 살겠다“고 말했다.

이들의 9월 결혼의 구체적인 날짜와 장소는 미정 상태이다.

KBS 35기 공채 아나운서로 2008년 데뷔한 도경완은 현재 KBS “아침마당”과 “연예가중계”의 MC로 활동하고 있다.

장윤정 역시 다가오는 디너쇼와 5월4일 열릴 “트로트 대축제-인우패밀리 콘서트”준비로 바쁜 나날을 보내고 있다

Singer Jang to marry KBS announcer

Trot singer Jang Yoon-jung and KBS announcer Do Kyeong-won are to get married September, the former’s agency said Monday.

“Jang and Do first met last year through a TV program. Their affection toward each other has been growing ever since, and they’ve finally decided to marry,” said Jang’s agency Inwoo Production.

The agency also added, “As public figures, neither wanted to hide things from the public which is why they announced their marriage a little early. However, the exact date and place have yet to be decided.”

Jang is one of most popular singers of trot, the oldest form of Korean pop music. Her debut in 2003 caught the attention of many, as young trot singers were very rare at the time. 

Jang is now working on her upcoming primetime show and “The Grand Trot Festival” scheduled for May 4. 

Do, 31, debuted as an announcer in 2008 and is currently hosting the KBS1 program “Saturday Morning Forum: The Family Sings” and “Entertainment Broadcast.”
