Treasure is slated to officially debut in Japan on March 31, but the group is already proving to be popular.

The boy band dropped Japanese versions of four songs -– “Boy,” “I Love You,” “Mmm” and “My Treasure” –- early Wednesday ahead of its debut and “Boy” landed at the top of LINE Music’s real-time chart. “My Treasure,” “I Love You” and “Mmm” made the list as well, ranking fourth, fifth, and sixth.

A poster featuring all 12 members graced the exterior of Shibuya 109, an iconic department store building in the middle of Tokyo, the group‘s agency YG Entertainment on Wednesday.

The group debuted in August last year and sold over 1 million albums with its “The First Step” series. Four members of Treasure hail from Japan.

Treasure will kick off its promotional activities starting with a pop-up store at Shibuya 109.

Rose of Blackpink confirmed that her debut solo performance will be on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

She will perform the track “On The Ground” for the first time on the show that will be aired on March 16. Her appearance on the NBC talk show will make her the first solo female K-pop musician to do so. The band unveiled their song “How You Like That” on the same stage last year.

The second teaser of the music video for “On The Ground” dropped Wednesday and provided more of a taste of the song including lyrics that go, “Everything I need is on the ground.” Eager fans tracked down the location of the set to a rest area in Gyeonggi Province.

Rose’s solo debut single “R” will come out on March 12 and pre-orders for the EP topped 400,000 units in four days, the highest number for solo female artist in Korea.

Jun. K of 2PM landed at the top of the iTunes pop albums chart and K-pop albums chart in Japan with his new EP on Wednesday.

Titled “This Is Not A Song,” the EP also ranked No. 3 on the overall albums chart as well.

This is the singer’s fifth release in Japan and it includes the track “This Is Not A Song, 1929” that came out in advance last June both in Korea and Japan. Also included are “Moon Light, 2003,” “Magritte In My Room, 2013” and “Hide And Seek, 1995.”

The EP further heightened fans’ interest as the three different versions of the EP each have different special tracks: “River Flows, 1971” and “In the Car, 1981” for the first limited edition; rearranged version of title track for an exclusive edition for fan club members; and instrumental version of title track for the conventional EPs.

The musician has been trying his hand at producing 2PM’s songs and wrote both the lyrics and melody of “My House,” originally released in 2015, that put 2PM back on music charts last year. He participated in writing all of the tracks on this EP.

The group put out its sixth EP “Zero: Fever Part 2” on March 1 and landed atop major music charts and picking up trophies from various television music shows with title track “I’m The One.”

The EP rose to the top of iTunes top albums charts in 36 regions and, according to data that became available on Wednesday, ranked No. 6 and No. 8 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart and World Albums Chart respectively. The music video for the title track amassed over 10 million views in a week.

The band will appear on “Kingdom: Legendary War,” the upcoming season of Mnet’s competition program among boy bands such as iKON, SF9, The Boyz and Stray Kids, that will begin airing in April.
