Swing Corp., which was established in 2002 under a previous name Shinan Greentech, is bringing a new trend to the vacuum cleaner market by introducing new technologies by combining the functions of the wireless wet and dry vacuum.

By prioritizing trust with customers over short-term gains, the company, led by its chief O Bu-jeon, has been operating on the philosophy of brining innovative technologies and services, officials explained.

Swing began with its WLE-550, 770 brands to introduce its vacuum cleaners in 2011. The product developed its own charging system that enables full charging within six hours which can clean a room up to the size of 50 pyeong at full capacity.

The strong suction power helps to clean out hair, pet hair and other fine dust to help maintain a healthy lifestyle, the firm said. The strong automatic revolution of 250 times per minute with three-layer filters are some of the strongest points of the brand, the company said.

The vacuum cleaner in particular comes with an additional function of attaching a wet cloth onto the device, so that it can be used as dry and wet cleaners.

With several patented technologies, Swing is exported to the US, Japan, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.

The company saw its accumulated sales surpass 10 billion won ($8.97 million) with its “power swing 8000,” a vacuum cleaner sold on home shopping channels in Korea. The model was once ranked on the NS Home Shopping channel in terms of sales and sold out on a Hyundai Home Shopping TV show.

“Among many me-too products that are capable of doing both dry sweeping and wet mopping, Swing’s products boast outstanding technology,” said an official from the Korean firm, adding that “the company will try to improve the quality of life and create value for customers.”
