Elris confirms June release of new EP

Elris’ “Summer Dream” is the latest in the long line of girl groups returning with new releases for the blazing-hot season.

The girl group’s agency Hunus Entertainment on Thursday released the teaser image for its third and latest EP, which shows a picture of five different colored drinks with the message “Elris is coming 2018 June.”

It will mark the first release for the K-pop act since EP “Color Crush” last September.

During a previous broadcast on the Naver V live, the members vowed that the upcoming record would be “its best ever” with a number of quality songs. With the release, they will be competing with some of the top female groups including Black Pink, Momoland and AOA, which recently released the first record as a six-piece act.

The five-member group debuted last year with the EP “We, first” and won the best new female group award at the 24th Korean Entertainment Arts Awards.

Its member Sohee is known for being a contestant in the reality competition TV show “K-pop Star 6: The Last Chance.”
