British afternoon tea at Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas presents a British afternoon tea set at the Lobby Lounge & Bar to celebrate the completion of the 10-month hotel renovation. The “Weekend High Tea Buffet” promotion offers a wide variety of dessert menus, including Earl Gray cake, brie crème brûlée, blueberry cheesecake and more prepared by the hotel’s patisserie. The selection of the dessert menu was assisted by InterContinental London Park Lane. Guests can choose one type of tea from seven different flavors of American tea brand Steven Smith Teamaker. Some of the popular flavors include “Road Bergamot,” “Meadow,” “Smith Peppermint.” The renovated Lounge offers 146 seats. The afternoon tea set is 35,000 won is available only on weekends. Christmas accommodation package at Imperial Palace Seoul

Imperial Palace Seoul presents the Christmas package for couples who wish to spend romantic Christmas. The “In the mood for love” package (starting from 290,000 won) includes a one-night stay in a guestroom, breakfast for two people and a candle set. Guests who choose the suite room is offered with a bottle of red wine, sandwich or pizza, assorted chocolates and a mini cake as in-room service. The “Special Eve” package (528,000 won) includes a one-night stay in a duplex suite or a corner suite with a candle set and the benefits offered at the Club Imperial Lounge. The “Special Eve” package guests can also participate in the hotel’s Christmas party event on Dec. 24 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Lobby Lounge Delmar. Christmas and Year-end party at Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s J.J. Mahoney’s holds a year-end party from Dec. 19 to 25 with the theme of “Oriental Express to JJ.” The party held in collaboration with Absolut Vodka creates an ice bar made entirely with ice where guests can enjoy vodka cocktails and tequila. The bar’s tables, chairs and all the rest of the furnishings are made of ice. The party will create the year-end festive mood with live performances and rhythmical house music by JJ’s house band Diesel. The party also holds a dance contest and lucky draw. Christmas dessert buffet at JW Marriott Hotel Seoul

Throughout this December, the Lobby Lounge at JW Marriott Hotel Seoul presents Christmas dessert buffet, featuring a variety of traditional cakes and cookies from around the world. The dessert buffet offers French dessert bûche de Noël, Italian panettone and German stolen, American Christmas puddings, star-shaped cinnamon cookies and gingerbread cookies. More classic desserts will be available such as New York cheesecake, chocolate cake, chocolate tart, macarons and mini sandwiches. Guests can choose around 10 types of desserts on Saturday and Sundays. From Monday to Friday, the desserts are served on a three-tiered tray. Ibis budget opens in Busan

Accor opens the branch of ibis budget in Haeundae, Busan. The hotel is the first ibis budget brand hotel in Busan and the second ibis budget in Korea after the opening in Seoul last month. The new hotel, which targets family and leisure travelers, features 181 guestrooms and is close to Haeundae Beach and Busan Aquarium. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV with multimedia hub, individual reading lights, Wi-Fi connection, working table and other basic amenities. The hotel offers breakfast buffet and a la carte menu from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., a snack area with vending machines, sauna, gym, laundry room and a 24-hour business corner with free Internet access and printing service.
