Finnish director retrospective in Busan

The Korean Film Archive will present 11 films by Finnish moviemaker Aki Kaurismaki in Busan.

The Finnish scriptwriter and director has won many awards, with his most successful movie being “The Man Without a Past,” which won the Grand Prix and the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Foreign Language Film category in 2003.

The Finnish Embassy has arranged for the film festival to run at the Cinematheque Busan until May 22.
