Lotte Hotel Seoul

The hotel’s buffet restaurant La Seine is offering a “Very Special Culture Package” to 100 guests, on a first-come first-served basis, until May 31. Priced at 300,000 won, the package includes buffet dining for two (worth 180,000 won), two VIP seat tickets to the musical “Mozart” (260,000 won), one bottle of premium wine (150,000 won) and two tickets to the Karsh exhibition. The hotel’s Asian food corner has been expanded to reflect a rising global interest in healthy low-calorie dishes. Some 15 representative dishes of eight Asian countries include Mongolia, Singapore, India, and China. The Japanese food corner prepares a dish on site with fresh food ingredients of choice. Millennium Seoul Hilton

The hotel’s English-style bar, offers a BBQ happy hour at the outdoor terrace. Every evening (except Sundays) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Oak Room bar hosts the BBQ buffet. The menu includes a variety of barbecued meats, German sausages, beef brisket with Korean galbi sauce, Mongolian spicy chicken and lamb cutlet, as well as various side dishes, salads and a full array of condiments including mixed green salad and mashed potatoes. Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas

The hotel is offering special set menus for Parents’ Day on May 8. At the restaurant Table 34, a French set lunch menu, including roast monkfish with pig’s trotter and mustard croquette or grilled Australian beef tenderloin with red wine shallot confit as the main dishes is offered at 70,000 won. The six-course dinner set menu, including pressed foie gras terrine, crustacean bisque with lobster tortellini and roasted langoustines and fennel confit, is available at 130,000 won.
On the 52nd floor, Marco Polo offers a five-course Mediterranean lunch set menu at 60,000 won, which includes a choice of Australian Wagyu beef rib-eye steak or rosemary marinated and grilled Australian lamb cutlet as a main dish. Ibis Ambassador Myeong-dong

Ibis Ambassador Myeong-dong is offering a special “Mongolian BBQ menu” with unlimited draft beer at its buffet restaurant La Table. Special menus for the Month of Family are also available in May such as chicken, pizza and ice cream are available. Carnations are given on Parent’s Day on May 8 and Teacher’s Day on May 15 along with adult menus such as steamed cow-tail, spicy eel and beef sashimi.
At La Table, reservation is strongly required. Prices are 25,000 won from Tuesday to Saturday and 24,000 won on Sunday and Monday. The special promotion for female guests of a special 15 percent discount, plus unlimited draft beer for dinner buffet has been extended to May. Call (02) 6361-8120.


Grand Hyatt Seoul

The Chinese restaurant of the hotel offers a wide variety of authentic Dim Sum selections from May 7 to May 22. The menu includes shark’s fin, shrimp, barbecue pork and Shanghai style steamed pork dumplings, as well as fruit spring rolls and egg rolls. Lunch and dinner set course menus are also available, along with various side dishes including a jellyfish salad, steamed abalone and sautéed pine mushrooms with asparagus. The menus are available from 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch, and from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. for dinner. The ala carte Dim Sum selections start from 13,000 won and the set menus for lunch and dinner are 65,000 won and 120,000 won, respectively. Call (02) 799-8163.
