Ever since Steve Job took a medical leave from Apple in January, his health has been a major concern for Mac fans. Some even worried that he might have only a few more weeks to live.
However, he demonstrated that he is still healthy by making a public appearance this week to meet a friend in Los Angeles, according to the Daily Mail. A few weeks ago, he also introduced the latest Apple product wearing his famous turtle neck sweater, giving hopes to Mac fans around the world. In recent pictures, although Jobs looks extremely thin, he is still able to walk on his own.
Rumors concerning his health arose two months ago when the CEO went on a medical leave. When a photo taken during meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama was revealed, people were shocked at how thin Jobs had become.
Yet, his public appearances may signify that he will be returning soon. According to the report, he told his friends that he will “be back to work as soon as possible” when he took leave. He also expressed concern over the recent Japanese disaster through the web. Tokyo’s flagship Apple store is known to have opened and provided access to free Internet services. For employees in Japan, Apple promised to provide whatever support is needed, including allowing them to sleep in Apple stores if necessary, reported the Daily Mail.
